More than 50% of pastors would leave the church today if they knew they could get another job.
This doesn’t scare us, it inspires us to do something about it.
Our mission is to pour Christ’s grace, hope and courage into leaders who pour into others.
The Heart Behind It All:
We lead with compassion, humility, and grace—always putting people over pressure and presence over performance.
We listen deeply.
We walk alongside.
We offer care over correction and community over isolation.
Everything we do flows from the heart of Jesus: creating space for people to feel seen, known, and never alone. Through shared experiences, biblical hospitality, and genuine connection, we help leaders feel safe enough to rest—and strong enough to move forward.
Coaching
It’s not about having all the answers—it’s about having someone in your corner to help you ask the right questions, gain clarity, and take the next faithful step. Especially in ministry, coaching can be the difference between burning out and moving forward with renewed purpose.
Community
Join a group of like-minded people with the common purpose of networking and be known by people who ‘get you’. We solve harder problems in better ways when we go together when we refine one another, encourage one another.
Events
Our events are designed to give ministry leaders a chance to breathe, rest, and reconnect—with God, themselves, and others. These are intentional, grace-filled spaces where you can step away from the demands of ministry and return refreshed, renewed, and reminded of your calling.
Meet the team
Walking in Between was born out of a friendship, a few honest conversations, and a whole lot of shared life in ministry. After years of working side by side in camping and church leadership—planning events, walking with weary pastors, and navigating our own seasons of burnout—we realized one thing: leadership can be incredibly lonely.
We’ve lived the mountaintop moments, but we’ve also sat in the valleys—the “in between” spaces where faith feels quiet and the road feels long. That’s why we’re here. Through community, encouragement, and grace-filled spaces, we help ministry leaders rest, reconnect with their calling, and keep going.
Because like Ben Rector sings, “life is not the mountain tops—it’s the walking in between.”

What people are saying…
“Keith helped me learn how to become a great leader. He saw a flaw that would have been detrimental to my ministry both vocational and personal but rather than calling me out in just truth, he slowed down, took the time hold space for me and followed up a few weeks after.
Katie meets where you are at. She’s the queen of hosting and opens up not only her space but also her heart.”
-Amanda A.
“Keith and Katie bring over 20 years of collective experience in full time ministry. The Lord has used them countless times to help people feel seen and valued.”
-Christian Camp Director
“A few years back I was a ministry leader burnt out and broken in my context. Keith met me in that place and helped me trust the Lord in that space. He pointed me back to scripture and encouraged me with his own story. That was one of my hardest seasons in ministry, and the Lord used Keith to help me through it.”
-Kara P.
“Katie is a great example of caring for others. She was the best Shepherd for our community.”
